Apologies if this has been posted before.  Looks like it was made in 2017, but I hadn't seen it until this morning.  I thought it worth's a pretty well done demo of VRS using a spray setup.

they certainly picked the right airframe to practice the procedure.  Mr. Lama can get into VRS at the drop of a hat.

Excellent post. And thank you for it. Without a doubt I immediately gave a thumbs up.

This being JH, I can only guess that the naysayers will be along soon to give a thumbs down for no good reason.

Thank you, I for one am glad that you put this back up, please keep doing it. Every year there is a new crop of pilots trying to work through the 50 ways to scare the pee out of themselves. There is so much disinformation out there in the world of rotorcraft. I could do a one hour rant about the Bs I have been told early on. If one new pilot watches this and puts this to practice, bravo. This little side slide is a long time powerline pilot skill that I wish someone had shared with me many years before I was finally told about it by MD500 pilot. I recall thinking that it was kind of funny to be told about this by a 1500 pilot and me with four times that. With years of wildland fire fighting, logging support, longline, and powerline I was still trying to claw my way out of VRS army style. So damn lucky I am still alive. I like to watch this once in a while to keep sharp and remind myself about the times I fell wobbling out of the sky using inefficient way to get out of a high rate of descent and on set of VRS.
