Getting ready to move out west. Anyone with inside info know of a pilot position that may be opening up in the next 30-90 days.

10k + hours but I don’t want to go the EMS route

Based on your 10,000 hours, I assume you have plenty of experience.  However, what is it?  Military?  Civil?  135 time?  What type of 135 time?  Utility?  HEC?  Fire?  Multi?  How much turbine?  The list goes on.

I don't want to degrade you as I am sure you are well qualified.  But, I know a couple of guys in Hawaii with over 25,000 hours.  It's all tour time, day, vfr, non instrument.  So.....sometimes it's not about the flight time, but the experience.

25,000 hours non instrument? Then why the hell do those Hawaii operators insist you have an instrument rating!

I used that as an example. Some small operators don’t require an instrument rating, but most do. However, except for your annual evaluation, you never fly practice instrument approaches.  And that approach is a IIMC recovery.  Also, no night flights. Ever. So, day, vfr only.

Investigate you out?  Test you out?  Must be... cause they can’t fly.  Concentrating on everything but flying skills.  YOUR NOT FIRED, you just ain’t hired.
