There is still a company flying tons of 206s in the HAA? cant be hospital programs, i am sure they would not want 50 year old aircraft or 50 year old designs still out in the field when the other companies are in the modern ages?

Are they getting kick backs to not notice??

A 206 is hardly ideal but it does do the job for the most part. it doesnt make sense having an aircraft no one can afford to use.

Yes. It's a 206. Underpowered. Underperforming tailrotor. There's two issues. And don't start with the "L4s have plenty of power". What, electrical power? Give me a 407 minimum.

You guys are just to cute. You think the business goes bankrupt cause of the assets haha! Upper hands getting bonuses and paying the owners as much as possible for ten years so they can legally claim bankruptcy. Then repeat and see how much they can get away with it.Not the nice assets!! let me guess you also think they do it for saving lives??

Funny, the 206 did everything we wanted it too and we did everything this new generation is doing today, albiet, with a lot less whining!  we didn't have the LTA problems you younger people seem to have.  We used the 5 P's.  Seemed to work for us.  Be thankful the 206 technology morphed into what you have today.  I don't know if the 407 or derivitives are any better,  but more power and better avionics have certainly benifieted the less experienced pilots.

the better, more reliable.  A to B isn't such a difficult thing, even with very few instruments.
