Looking at her credentials...BS degree in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering. MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford. MBA from Carnegie Mellon.

She's going to have to dumb it down in order to relate to the average helicopter pilot.

Audrey is a licensed private helicopter pilot...

Do you reckon she gets to fly the D around for fun all day doing ' demos? '

“She's going to have to dumb it down in order to relate to the average helicopter pilot.“

I don’t think pilots are the ones she has to worry about. There are only a handful left at this point. As long as she uses small words and big cartoon pictures she might have a chance at the staff meetings. Don‘t forget to bring crayons. As usual the pilots are the only ones holding the place together.

AAG is getting ready to change the pilot schedule to 7x7 with a raise. They are doing something right!

Author:Loss of high time loyal pilots

the attrition over the last year has been staggering. Many high time, highly experienced and loyal team members have gone elsewhere - and some have given up working completely out of sheer despair !! All they wanted was to be paid as well as the competition and to be given some more time off so they could have a quality home life/balance.

The strategy of the company has always been to burn everybody out as there as always been an endless pool of replacements. The time training costs of new hires are implemented, the constant attrition must be costing more than retaining the pilots they have.

No idea what the customers think when they see new face after new spotty face. Nobody minds working hard, but the abuse has been appalling. The simple solution is to raise the hourly charter rate by $500 and attract the personnel needed to share the burden. None of the customer corporations and private individuals will even notice. AAG can only remain a premium serivce if it has pilots to fly.

AAG should be a job for life. Lockheed Martin is a great company to work for.

never, ever, been a premium employer, or a job for life.  You're right though, considering the parent company, it should be, for sure.
