If you have a true disability (loss of limb, site, hearing etc.) use it. Thats what its for. I had a friend that lost a leg in a CH46 accident. By demonstrated ability he got a medical and went on to fly commercial. I wouldn't and didn't question his disability. When you see some out playing baseball, football or whatever and are on a military disability I will question it. Its not all Vets our SS system actively recruits people onto disability. I agree with the OP. Its become a social stain on us as a society. |
