"on hitch"? What does that mean? On hitch, off duty?

Just being clear for those new to HAA.

I know some people (mostly single guys) want to use the off-duty quarters for their hitch week AND their off-hitch week.

Sounds crazy, but some operators will allow it if the room is free.
