So if you're planning on working Part 135 the next day it still counts towards the lookback. It's really not that hard. If your jobs requires you to do something it's duty and you're not flying part 135 until 10 hours later, no matter what your paramedic area manager says.

If your operator is hurting so bad that on your 7th or 14th or whatever the end of your hitch is they have you ferrying aircraft around past your 14th hour it may be time to start looking for a new job.
