Flapping corrects for dissymmetry of lift, coning is a force exerted due to the blades carrying the weight of the aircraft. In a rigid rotor system, or semi rigid, without coning hinges the blades bend to absorb the coning forces. In a fully articulated rotor system the blades bend but the individual flapping hinges of each blade will also allow the blades to cone up a bit naturally. The Robinson is a seesaw type system, one cannot go up without the other one going down. The coning, is the outboard bolts, and that’s that.
