A few peers have reached out, different operators, each saying the same thing. "Our HR is conducting a survey locally and regionally to see how we compare." It seems everyone's entry level pay isn't much different than the other. There's really no reason to move in this industry with stagnant pay as it is. You're actually better off to just stay put and put up with the BS in whatever company you're in and ride it out until retirement.
My question is what would it take to convince you to move to a new part of the country? Is money the biggest motivating factor? And what should the entry-level salary be now for an air ambulance pilot?
My vote is at least 100k. In addition, an extra $1,000 per year of service in air ambulance.
