Also, for the Float pilot position there is also a pay increase and a $30k sign-on bonus. But there is a lot of traveling and the pay increase doesn't really make it finacially worth the random schedule. You could work 3 days here and 2 days there and 2 more days somewhere else. Management tries to keep you in one location for 7 shifts in a row, but that's never guaranteed and it also could change last minute. So, until you have your 7 shifts done in a 14 days period, you could consider yourself on-call.
