that but consider the relationship the "kingdom" has with the current administration.  Don't think for a minute that a helicopter pilot cannot be put up on charges of espionage given the sensitive places they transit and land low level.  Plus, if your passport is kept by the company and/or signatures are required to leave the country you are already a captive/prisoner.  

Look around.  Red Sea troubles with trade, Houthi (the ruling entity of Yemen) messing about to impact trade, the Israeli situation, Ukraine, Iran/Pakistan, Iranian proxies, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, N. Korea, China, etc. etc.  

Residing and working anywhere near this mess can end badly, and on the backside you'll be considered foolish for being there.
