There is a new word inserted in the definition of Company Seniority (italicized).
Company Seniority – Company Seniority shall be defined as a Pilot's cumulative length of service with the Company ...
That was not part of the definition previously. So, does that mean every pilot who rehired now have to have his previous cumulative length of service time with the company factored into his pay scale when it wasn't before? Should he be able to enter the pay scale with that time credited? Or, will that only apply to rehires moving forward?
There are a good number of pilots who rehired at the bottom that this affects. How is their Company Seniority being considered under the new definition? |
