I did my homework, most of you only read the press release. The type certificate, R00009RD, for the H160B that was issued 6/30/2023 applies to aircraft S/N 1002 ONLY. This is not one of the aircraft that PHI purchased. The last line of the TCDS states that the H160 is not eligible for a Certificate of Airworthiness. Without that certificate, an H160 can not be listed on an AOC's ops specs. The press release is true that the type certificate was granted, but it was good for one day and useless for any American operator. |
