If you can earn more than most around you, does that not mean you can make a 25+ year career out of flying helicopters, even with the current inflation and stagnant salaries?

The real problems are going to hit the lower income folks first and then works it's way up the food chain. It's like the old saying you don't have to be fast enough to out run the bear, just need to be faster than the other guy.
