The ELT used to be people who worked their way up through the ranks, so they at least understood the industry. Now they're just a bunch of professional suits who are good at making themselves appear to be productive. AMC is also heavy with middle management, there's a lot of fat that could be trimmed off. I don't think they'll find a buyer at today's interest rates. The VCs like to finance deals like this, they don't want to use their own capital. |
