Well, maybe the market for the twin-engine 109 isn't viable anymore since turbine reliability has gotten so good? (Kind of like how Airbus dropped the AS355.) Or...it could be because Leonardo has its hands full producing *130* of their AW-119 (single-engine 109) for the US Navy. Pretty good contract for any manufacturer. |
