Sounds like he's not doing anything specifically unsafe - just a different technique that complies with procedure but that his co-workers just haven't seen used before. Also sounds like management has given their answer and his co-workers can either fly with him or pack their $h!t... for now anyways. Unfortunately, this won't last. Sooner or later, guys like this get blackballed by their medcrew, justifiably or not. And they either get a transfer or a glowing letter of recommendation to their next employer. |
