Most folks don't understand how equity firms work. Take profit of 100 million and turn it into 1 billion in their pocket. Every 5-7 years equity firms sell their assets to other assets. Some for way better and some for not. Most folks couldn't tell you the biggest players in private equity. They just assume everyone is Enron.
