4th year at a legacy airline flying the 767 as a FO. I average 18k per month gross. Add the 16% 401k contribution and thats almost 21k per month. Thats an easy 252k at the moment. We have reached an AIP with the company and expect an 18% pay raise which will bring my income up to almost 300k. If I pick up a few premium pay trips over the year I'll be north of 300. Looking back I really enjoyed my time flying EMS. Bit I couldn't justify making (at the time) 56k. If the job had been closer to 100k I probably wouldn't have been motivated to move on. But looking back I don't regret the decision to chase the airline dream at all. stay safe |
