You will only be expected to know the aircraft if there is a type rating involved. Other than that there will be no oral questions on the aircraft if you go by the practical test standards. Orals on the aircraft are only if a type rating is involved other than that the oral will only consist of instrument procedures if the guy is following the practical test standards. Way better to complete the ATP ride in a small aircraft under 12,500 pounds. Worry about the type rating later on a separate ride. |
