in '73 lost a friend because the operator would not comply with main rotor transmission overhaul TBOs. Don't fool around with any of this stuff. The parts are not engineered to last, say, 50% longer, they are generally sorted to handle, (again) say, 50% more stress and strain within its promulgated service life. |
