Split Shift thoughts   

Food for thought 7/7 schedule if changing on a Thursday every other weekend is off.

      Some dont like the 7 nights they didnt seem to reverse out. 

      Scheduled holiday shifts change out over a 5 year cycle.

4 days/3 nights,  started on Monday seemed like never a full weekend off. The change to nights seemed harder (personal opinion)

3 Days/4 Night shift started on Friday, my opposites loved this schedule, every other weekend off and likely few holidays.

Holidays shifts dont change year to year.  The Senior guy (AMC Union) was scheduled numerous holidays and every christmas shift, he put in for vacation per the contract and awarded the time off. Pi$$ed off the other 3 pilots. Was not an issue on the previous 7/7 schedule everyone had a holiday off.

The base I worked the pilots agreed if you were scheduled both Tday and Xmas the others would exchange a shift so no one worked both holidays.
