Tim was the POI for Hillsboro Aviation (among others) in 1999 when I was the Ass't. Chief Pilot. He got me my current job when I was over at the FSDO getting some company paperwork signed. He asked me how I was doing and when I mentioned that I was looking for another job, he smiled and said, "I know a guy, let me make a call". He picked up the phone, dialed a number and told the fellow on the other end, "Hey, I got a guy you need to talk to", then handed the phone to me. After a short discussion of my qualifications my potential new boss asked when I could come out. I asked if he wanted me to come for an interview and he said, "No, I'm hiring you, when can you come out to get started". Tim just sat there with a big grin on his face as he watched my eyes bug out. Of all my good memories of working with Tim, that one was the best.
