a fact ref: menial jobs. It was predicted in the 60s and 70s by 2000 we would be a service economy, meaning bye bye industry, production, manufacturing and all the rest. The January jobs numbers are reallly just people going back to work to jobs that were eliminated from the statistical roles by which unemployment percentages are calculated. Old jobs reincarnated are not 'new' jobs created, it's a reflection of recovery, nothing more. Wail away. |
