Yep bro… read the regs that got you to the point you are. A POH or RFM is notonly required in the aircraft but ‘within pilot’ reach. Meaning a B-747 can’t have a manual in the rear lav nor can a B-407 have the manual in the cargo area.
So yes, flight control area is the term used internationally for placement of the critical operations manual or whatever your choice of wording is. I know what the are recognized as within the bodies that govern flight rules.

As a side question. Do you have a beard or man bun?
