That was the point of my original question. No helicopter I’m aware of is civilian certified for any aerobatic flight. Tribal knowledge and military applications show that some CAN do aerobatic maneuvers. In clouding the military EC-135.
Let’s return to my original question. Can an EC135 fly inverted or roll intentionally or not without chopping off the tail? The simple answer is yes, sort of. True inverted probably is not possible.
My question comes from the med types statement that they were ‘pinned’ against the ceiling and the helicopter rolled more than once yet they were both somehow able to get into their seat harness AND secure an infant patient in seconds before the crash.
