In the twilight of my career (not really, I have 10 more years minimum) and flying helicopters and airplanes in multiple sectors including military, EMS, Utility, and Training, and dealing with the men and women whom occupy these positions.  I have come to the conclusion that people are sometimes not happy with thier lot in life.  Is it because of thier own shortcomings or is it because of "the man" keeping them down.  Bottom line is its is irrevelant.  We  make our own destiny.  I often hear folks complaining about management because of this that and the other.  But, the people complaining have not chosen to step up to fix the issues (attempet to move up in the company).
