I can’t speak for other states labor rules or your contract, which should spell out compensation, in California compensated time off ( trade days) are earned at 1.5 hours the same as overtime. In California you then own those days to be taken at YOUR discretion. In theory the comp time is a money saver for businesses but long term a bad idea. It’s better to pay you in money then time. In California upon your separation from a company you are to be paid for whatever balance of days you have. |
