I once logged 12 hours in a helicopter in a single day... didn't realize it till after I ended up in the hotel and was logging my flight.

after each landing I would take a photo of the MFD that would keep track of flight time between landings. And cycles.
I had to double check to confirm... but yup, 12 hours flight time.
