"I would lift very gingerly" ALWAYS a good idea unless somebody's shooting at you.
There are things that can fail in flight that coould cause, ahem- "dynamic divergent excitation" as Eurocopter preferred to call it. I guess it's not a bug but a feature that Eurocopters can shake themselves to bits before ground resonance.
I had 3 transmission support rod end bearings pull loose in 2 separate events. Fortunately, the structure was designed to contain the failed bearings. "Clank" and the nose dropped an inch or so.... |
