For those facing mandatory jab or termination  

This is an interesting question/comment.

I suspect that not a single base will close

In the end I beleive that, when push comes to shove, the majority of pilots and mechanics will end up getting the jab so they will not be terminated.  Maybe a few who are very close to retirment will leave but most will end up getting the shot.

If mandated most employees will do it to keep their pay checks coming in....bills to pay, mouths to feed, family to take care of, etc........

FYI...I am NOT anti vax (the benefits do outweigh the risks IMO) but I am not really supportive of mandates at this point in time.  Educate and inform people and let them make an informed decision.  Try the 'carrot approach' first before jumping to the 'stick'  (E.G.  offer incentives first before punishment).
