Med Trans got the Banner contract and displaced 3 PHI bases and 1 AMC base. It's staffed almost entirely with people who worked at those bases with the other companies and transferred over, as well as some newbies and some outside hires from PHI, AMC, etc...

Jobs were posted a few months ago on Med-Trans website and to my knowledge all spots are filled, although I'm not really keeping up with that. 5 year contract as far as I know, and knowing Banner there's a decent chance they try to buy up more indepenent hospitals and put more bases there. (See Payson and Casa Grande a few years ago)

It's a new flight program, so I expect there will be some rough edges to be ironed out (Like getting matching flight suits, not having crews sharing helmets, etc...) but the new E model Astars aren't too bad all things considered.

If you're newer it might be worth making the jump. If you've got significant time in another operator it's going to be a paycut, but I guess that's the industry we're in.
