Do airline pilots clean up the galley?  

No, not ever. They are professional sensitive equipment operators. They do not clean the windshields either. They do not add oil when it's low. They do not fuel their own aircraft.

The are paid for what they know and what they are capable of doing in an emergency. All the others are paid for what they can do. Serve, maintain, clean and service.

Just because you drive the jiffy john cleanout truck at the airport does not mean you work in "aviation"!
