There is no limitation to commercial flight time or duty time under Part 91
There is a limit to 8 hours of flight time for a pilot of Part 135 operations, and that pilot must include all commercial flying in those totals when applying it to Part 135, but not to Part 91 operations.
You can exceed the 8 hour limitation in Part 135 if the certificate holder schedules you in regularly assigned duty periods of no more than 14 hours under 135.267(c), but if you can't follow 135.267(c), you simply re ert to 135.267(d) 24 hour look-back and 8 hour flight time limitation (for anyb135 flying) You are not limited to 14 hours of duty or 8 hours of flight time simply because you are a "commercial pilot". That is made up nonsense! |
