No, not scared just not stupid to take off with 70 gal on average to go IFR. IFR flying is way easier because someone else is managing the entire flight for you. All you do is file a 60 sec flight plan on ForeFlight and go. The anutopilot claims out, levels off, flies the flight plan and approach flies you right on down to mins. Way easier if you ask me because your going airport to airport unless you are lucky to have a hospital approach. VFR you actually have to pay attention to the weather, hazards like towers, airspace and other aircraft. I enjoy my 407 where I can top off and throw a 400lb patient in there with my 2 medcrew and anytime of the year. I could never do that in a 135. I would never get off the ground.

If I wanted to fly IFR everywhere I go. I would go to the airlines. No fun in flying in the clouds all the time.
