The base I used to work at would fly 100-120 flights per month in the busy season, which was summer. And would fly 70-80 in less busy months. We called the summer season the trauma season, and volume ramped up quickly starting around mid-May to September. Our average flights were from 0.7 to 1.5 round trip. It was common to fly 2-3 flights per shift. |
