Once you're started make sure you put in atleast the matching amount on your TSP account. If you have any militarily duty. Buy back those years for more retirement pay. Your retiremen is based on your highest 3 years of pay. Over time and bonuses don't count. But location and shift pay do. So move to a high paying area your last 3 years in. |
