I keep reading and seeing 'experts' in the news talking about how helicopters become unstable at slow speed and the correct couse is just climb, keep the speed up and call ATC for help. I agree with you. Never lose sight of the ground! You will die. I guess all the 'experts' need a few Alaska seasons to discover that.
