helicopters over 50 years now. Much as I'm fond of not having a union, it is totally foolish not to.
The airline pilots discovered it, other helicopter pilots did, you all might as well get in on it.
The cost is nothing compared to the reward, which is stability and not having management constantly agitating from one issue to the other in haphazard ways. Other reasonable things as well.
Nothing spectacular, but well worth it.
