With all the changes coming to our industry, people moving to airlines, more overseas work, etc.
Do we really think there is going to be a pay raise in the future?
Also, do all the new pilots coming in the military and civilian sector realize all the hard work done in the years past to help bring up pay?
I wonder how many new comers will stand behind salary parity to bring up the pay for experienced. I.E- new hires being brought on at or near or sometimes above the pay of more senior pilots.
If the salary does not come up for senior pilots do you see them moving around more to find that better pay?
Interesting times in the industry- AEL tons of openings offering better wages, Utility sector actually having a life and schedule, Offshore hopefully getting stronger, ENG requiring real experience.
Let me know what you think, just might do an article in a magazine so everyone can enjoy instead of just the just helicopters crowd
