We fly a lot of IFR. It allows us to comole a lot more flight than we could otherwise. If we could have a helicopter certified for icing that was reason in size and maintenance then we would probably add 15-20% volume to what we do.
SPIFR can be safe. It's up to the organization to provide quality training. It's up to the pilot to STUDY. In some cases they expect the training department to start from scratch.
