One would think the medical community would wake up, but, being a professional academic endeavor there is absolutely no hope of them leaving the mental halls of academia to grasp the realities of their work role of being an aware passenger in some sort of flying machine.
For the most part what they need to do is STFU and simply DO what they are told to DO.
Would certainly go a long way in reducing all the last minute mental minutae they come up with that the pilot has to pour through his/her brain.
Talk about distractions.
