HAA in Jersey is doomed. Vineland AKA med 5 was kicked out by the hospital and shares KMIV with Cooper. The state run program SouthSTAR is back. Now that Norcross and Murphy are in a p!ssing contest the ENTIRE medevac system has been going under an investigation by the Dept of Health. Here is what is coming in the near future in NJ. MONOC done, Robert Wood taking over and adding another medevac, however the 2nd will be going out of service in December. JeffSTAT will be departing back to PA as they are never in NJ anyway. Cooper 2 is being shut down due to the fued (December), however Cooper 1 will stay in service. Medevac 4 in KOBI will go elsewhere (DE), however Medevac 5 will stay. Hackensack 2 out of service December also. Air 1 & Hackensack 1 stay. Both SouthSTAR and NorthSTAR will be assigned strictly on scene requests while the others will be strictly mutual aid and inter facility transports. Politics controls everything, I would not work for anyone in Jersey as you are at the mercy of the Dept Of Health, hence I keep mentioning December. Good luck I feel for some of you.
