How about a little intellectual honesty rather than just being deliberately obtuse? That just feeds into existing unflattering stereotypes. This conversation isn't about who happens to be stuck with that task. That's simply the result of office politics and better representation from your side. We both know that nothing's going to change the current state of affairs. You can be honest.


So, is washing an aircraft about maintaining an aircraft or operating an aircraft? Those are the only two choices available, unless you want to suggest that it might be included in providing patient care. (which could be just as logical, I suppose)


Don't be scared to say it out loud if you really believe it, though. Go ahead and say "Cleaning the exterior of a helicopter with soap and a brush is the definition of operating a helicopter."
