I chose flying so I wouldn't have to get a real job.  I learned that after college, yes, four years of it.

To me life isn't about working, it's about enjoying it and helping others along the way, which adds to the satisfaction.

Money can help when it is needed but if you are really turned on by flying, whatever type, then do it.  I did for 5.5 decades and loved it, definitely do not regret it.

Rightfully complaining about one's compensation isn't a bad thing, unless one does nothing about it, thus being a complainer is fact.

Remember, big money = big bills, little money = big bills.  We all tend to spend money rather than save it for a rainy day or retirement.  Big big mistake, especially when the only place we tend to save is in the stock market, an even bigger mistake.  

Balance, that's the way to do it.
