If you're autorotating--by definition, the powerplant not providing torque to the M/R--as you're pulling collective pitch the aircraft will tend to rotate toward the power pedal (left in a 206/407, right in an Astar) due to drag forces against the main transmission gears. In other words, the opposite of what would happen if you pulled collective with the powerplant coupled to the rotor drive. So, in your scenario, descending into trees, making a big collective pull to cushion, and all of a sudden the T/R gets sheared off...then (barring any trees in the way of rotation) the Bell products would start rotating nose left--not nose right.
