A typical line will have you working about 18 days per month. Schedules will often tap you to work overtime. Perhaps 2 to 3 days per month. Depending on the contract/pay schedule, you might be making big bucks on those overtime days. Way back when I was an airline FO, working over about 4 days per month doubled my salary. Obviously your mileage may vary, but that 57K with overtime might be more like 75K the first year...before taxes, of course. And if you are thinking about going, the time is now. Don't wait. Seniority is everything. Everything.
