Question:

I'm interested in the idea of starting a scenic tour business. I have my certificates, including CFI, as well as a healthy business capable of helping fund a new business start-up, as well as supporting one that may struggle at times. I would like to buy one R44 and run the business with myself and possibly one other individual (support or non-flying tasks). Hurdle- I only have around 300 hours. Would I be able to get an LOA and insure my aircraft with my flight time? Is this an impossible dream?

Before answering my question: Yes, I am aware of the high start-up cost, I have access to loans and partners. My current business can provide an additonal 5-10k a month in financial support during the slow times.
