If you don't want to fly, fine. Nobody is trying to kidnap you. Just stand behind your decision and own it. Don't expect the pilot to take your turndown (yes, statistics are compiled on such things). If you feel confident that you are better positioned to make that weather descision, just own it. That's all. I don't want anyone flying against their will. HEMS is not a job for everybody. Not every nurse, not every paramedic, and not every pilot is cut out for this work. |
