I’m sure wherever YOU happen to have worked is how it is in the rest of the country. Narrow minded. None of us pull off ”hero landings” as you put it. It’s just a skilled professional landing in an unknown LZ at night based on your own recon essentially. Anyone who trusts the “on scene commander” is a fool. my base does 60/40 hospital to scene.
Im not putting utility pilots down in any way. It’s a good job for starting and for people who are nomads. Other than that there is better stuff out there IMO
